Busco lo que se filtra sin querer, eso que lo hace transparente, que no puede disfrazarse, Lo que lo define sin que lo sepa.
Trabajo con materiales frágiles, que traen historia como papel, vidrio, arcilla, porque en su capacidad de romperse y cicatrizar encuentro la estructura de lo humano.
Construyo escrituras sin palabras. En Muteadas la barbotina cerámica solidifica el trazo en un objeto silente.
En los dibujos, gestos e imágenes aparecen como borbotones de pensamiento: un animal, una geometría, una locación, todo junto sin poder definirse.
El dibujo es más un instrumento del pensamiento que un soporte estético.
Me interesa ese umbral: entre lo que se fragmenta y lo que se inscribe, entre lo que el material decide y lo que yo elijo hacer con él, entre la oscuridad que permanece y la marca que hace posible quedarse frente a ella.

I look for what filters through unintentionally—that which makes it transparent, which cannot be disguised, what defines it without its knowing.

I construct writings without words. In Muteadas (Muted), the ceramic slip solidifies the stroke into a silent object.
In the drawings, gestures and images appear like bursts of thought: an animal, a geometry, a location—all together, unable to be defined. Drawing is more an instrument of thought than an aesthetic support.
I am interested in that threshold: between what fragments and what leaves a mark, between what the material decides and what I choose to do with it, between the darkness that remains and the trace that makes it possible to stand before it.
